Tanzania
Situated just south of the equator, Tanzania is waiting for you to explore its beauty. It is known for its stunning wildlife, including the famous Serengeti National Park. In July and August, you can catch a glimpse of the great wildebeest migration. This is when millions of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes cross the plains of Serengeti to search for fresh grass. Meanwhile, hungry crocodiles and predators wait in the river.
Lake Manyara National Park with the tree-climbing lions; Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven wonders of nature or Lake Tanganyika, the longest freshwater lake in the world; Tanzania has amazing safari opportunities. In addition to its wildlife, Tanzania is home to the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. If you’re a hiker, it is definitely worth climbing.
Tanzania boasts some of the most stunning beaches in East Africa, with crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches. From the popular Zanzibar Island to the remote beaches of Mafia and Pemba Island.
